ATTORNEY BIOGRAPHY

Leon Tao, Esq.

Leon Tao is the managing attorney in the LR Law, located in Los Angeles, California. He specializes in Consumer Protection cases particularly in cases arising out of the California Song-Beverly Act, ("Lemon Law"). He is also experienced in Personal Injury as well as Employment litigation.

 

Mr. Tao earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School.

Since he obtained his license to practice law, Mr. Tao has worked at multiple prominent law firms dedicated in defending corporations and insurance carriers against employment and medical malpractice claims filed by wrongfully treated employees and injured patients.

 

After gaining a considerable amount of experience in how defense works in litigation, Mr. Tao switched side to plaintiff and had since then represented hundreds of plaintiffs in California State and Federal Courts in lemon law-related cases against car manufacturers. 

 

Mr. Tao is passionate about fighting for his clients. He is a powerful negotiator, excelling in mediation and settlement conferences. 

 

Mr. Tao is admitted to the State Bar of California, as well as all Federal Districts Courts of California.

Alena Liang, Esq.

Alena Liang, Esq. is LR law firm’s of counsel Attorney. She is experienced in handling a variety of employment litigation matters such as claims for discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, disability accommodation, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination. She is also experienced in handling personal injury matters.

 

Ms. Liang earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine, and her Juris Doctor degree from Chapman Law. During law school, she continuously worked as a summer and part-time legal assistant for multiple litigation law firms, where she received intensive training in how to become a competent litigator at all stages of a lawsuit. She also had externship at federal government agencies and published multiple journals regarding California statutes in the government’s internal Law Review.

 

Despising the philosophy that justice is for the rich, Ms. Liang believes that those who are wronged and harmed by powerful companies and organizations should be fairly compensated. As a plaintiff’s attorney, Ms. Liang fights aggressively and relentlessly for her clients in court proceedings. In doing so, she strives to not only regain the justice and respect that her clients deserve, but also aims at obtaining the maximum compensation for them.

 

In addition to her legal expertise, Ms. Liang’s degree in psychology renders her exceptionally competent in negotiation and settlement proceedings outside of the courtroom.

 

Ms. Liang is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
