Leon Tao, Esq.

Leon Tao is the Managing Attorney at LR Law Firm in Los Angeles, California. His practice focuses on consumer protection matters, particularly cases arising under the California Song-Beverly Act (“Lemon Law”). He also has extensive experience in personal injury, contract disputes, and real estate litigation.
Mr. Tao earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School.
Before founding LR Law Firm, Mr. Tao practiced at several prominent defense firms, where he represented corporations and insurance carriers in medical malpractice litigation. This experience provided him with valuable insight into defense strategies and the manner in which large institutions respond to claims brought by wrongfully treated plaintiffs and injured patients.
After gaining substantial litigation experience on the defense side, Mr. Tao transitioned to plaintiff-side practice. He has since represented hundreds of consumers in both California State and Federal Courts in lemon law actions against major automobile manufacturers.
Mr. Tao is deeply committed to advocating for his clients. He is recognized for his strong negotiation skills and excels in mediations and settlement conferences.
Mr. Tao is admitted to the State Bar of California and all Federal District Courts within California.

Alena Liang, Esq. serves as Of Counsel to LR Law Firm. She has extensive experience representing employees in discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, disability accommodation, wage-and-hour, and wrongful termination matters, as well as plaintiffs in personal injury actions.
Committed to ensuring that justice is accessible to all, Ms. Liang advocates aggressively for individuals harmed by powerful companies and organizations, striving to restore their rights and secure maximum compensation.
Ms. Liang is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
